Summer School Objectives

The UQ Summer School serves to introduce the participants to key ideas that are driving current research in the area of Uncertainty Quantification. The focus is on fundamental mathematical concepts together with related computational and algorithmic issues. This year's speakers will be

• Michael Mahoney (UC Berkeley): UQ aspects of NN
• Giuseppe Cataldo (NASA): UQ aspects of JWST
• Bharat Sriperumbudur (PSU): Optimal transport and gradient flows
• Peter Coveney (UCL): Uncertainty quantification molecular dynamics simulations
• Cosmin Safta (Sandia National Labs): UQ in scientific computing
